WittyOS is Coming

We have started work on WittyOS — a project we are developing as part of WittyBits Studio.

This is an early stage, but the foundations are already defined.

We are building a system that is meant to be fast, clear, and predictable in everyday use.

Direction

WittyOS is created as a response to a simple premise:

An operating system should work exactly as you expect

Without unnecessary complexity.

Without chaos.

Without compromises where they are not needed.

Technology

We base the project on proven solutions:

• Debian 13 as a stable foundation,
• Liquorix kernel for better responsiveness,
• developed graphical layer X12 (fork of X11).

This is a conscious choice — we combine stability with the possibility of real improvements.

Identity

The WittyOS logo has defined the project's direction from the beginning.

The crystalline form symbolizes:

• purity,
• clarity,
• structure.

The color scheme remains consistent with WittyBits Studio — because it's part of one ecosystem.

This is just the beginning.
